5 - Chris
With the release of Pokemon GO, we were out for a Pokemon walk at Hawrelak Park with the kids, and had stopped to do the parental ritual of slathering sunscreen on porcelain skin, also known as 'Daddy found a Pokestop'. Suddenly, some sort of wild Pokemon makes an appearance, and up runs Chris, his two little boys in tow, also doing some hunting. We laughed a bit about the whole thing, and they went off on their adventure, while we went off on ours. And in the back of my mind, I'm thinking how absolutely adorable the three of them were, and how those boys must be having the time of their life while Dad relishes in being able to share this with them, and how Erik would be the same way with our little boy when he's older. Fast forward to us packing back into the car, when Chris and his family are walking back to the lot, and it seemed too perfect to pass up. So I ask him for his portrait, as his little boys are being rambunctious, and his wife is getting the car ready, and he graciously consents. And Erik and I refer to him as Chris, Pokemon Master, as I'm sure he is to his boys.
