4 - Jessica

Jessica, along with her daughter and another family member, stopped and sat next to us, for a cold treat on a very hot day at the Alberta Legislature grounds. If I'm being honest, I was initially drawn to the geniusly crafted, hooded-poncho-towel, with a design of Minnie Mouse, that her daughter was wearing. I was wondering where on earth I could find one for my own little one. I vaguely remember commenting to them about it, or about ice cream, but as I walked away, I decided to go back and ask for her portrait. Jessica had such a sweet, unassuming demeanor, and when she stated after I took her portrait, that of course this would happen on a scrubby day, I told her that, on the contrary, she looked lovely. And now that I have this wonderful photo, I'm all but kicking myself that I didn't tell her just how beautiful she looked that day.
